Russian visa registration

According to current Russian law, every foreign citizen entering Russia is obliged to register his visa if he resides on Russian territory for more than 7 working days after his arrival.

If you are staying in a hotel, it will directly process the visa registration, upon payment of a fee ranging from 150 to 500 rubles.

If you are not staying in a hotel, then registration will need to be done at the UFMS. The procedures for registering in private accommodation are quite complicated and constantly changing; To make it easier for you, we offer this service both in St. Petersburg and in Moscow.

In order to register, we need the following documents:

• Original passport (which will not be retained)
• Immigration card with entry stamp

The immigration card will be given to you on the plane or at customs if you enter Russian territory by other means. Registration consists of a stamp that is placed on the back of the immigration card, indicating the entry and exit dates and the place where you will stay.

Russian tourist visa registration St. Petersburg: €85

Russian Tourist Visa Registration Moscow: €95

Registration will be carried out over a couple of days, during which you will be able to show the authorities our receipt if the documents are requested.

Registration for tourist visas can last a maximum of one month, while for business visas three months.

Registration for 3 months can only be done in Moscow and costs €95.

Registrations for more than 3 months are not possible, as after 3 months of consecutive stay, the foreign citizen is obliged to leave Russian territory.

For each new entry a new registration must be made.

The maximum period of stay during the year is 180 days.

We recommend that you always register your visa, as, in addition to heavy fines, you run the risk of being detained at customs, with many further inconveniences (loss of flight, need to extend your visa at very high costs...) .
