1 DAY: SAINT PETERSBURG

2 DAY: SAINT PETERSBURG

City tour.
During the bus tour you will visit St. Isaac's Square, on which St. Isaac's Cathedral is located, the largest Orthodox church in St. Petersburg. Climb to a height of 43 meters above the ground, on the Colonnade. Two spiral staircases of 200 steps lead to the colonnade and from there a beautiful panorama of the city opens.
Lunch in the restaurant of the city.
After lunch, you will be able to see Russia in miniature.
You will visit the Museum of the Grand Layout of Russia, where the collective images of the regions of the Russian Federation are combined, and you will be able to see the places that you will get to know as part of this tour.

3 DAY: VYBORG

Today we are to visit the port city on the Baltic, Vyborg.
Vyborg, founded in the Middle Ages by the Swedes, has been the only historical settlement in the Leningrad Region since 2010. You walk around the city, take a look at the Vyborg Castle and the Transfiguration Cathedral. After lunch, you can feel like a medieval Baltic Slav. Stroll through the historical — ethnographic museum under the open sky, recreated in full size, like a medieval fortress, Varyazhsky Dvor — Svargas. This is an Indo-European word, translated as "Sunny sky."
Return to St. Petersburg.

4 DAY: VELIKY NOVGOROD

Today we are waiting for a trip to the city of Veliky Novgorod.
It is located 200 km from St. Petersburg, a trip to Veliky Novgorod will take approximately 3 hours. Veliky Novgorod is one of the oldest and most famous cities in Russia — the birthplace of Russian statehood. Arriving in Novgorod, you will have lunch in the district of the city, then you will find an interesting tour of the city, which includes the Novgorod Kremlin, St. George Monastery, a museum of wooden architecture.

5 DAY: PSKOV

Today we are waiting for a trip to the city of Pskov.
It is located 200 km from Veliky Novgorod, a trip to Pskov will take approximately 3 hours. Pskov — one of the oldest cities in Russia, first mentioned in the annals under the year 903. Pskov is an important tourist center of Russia. Monuments of ancient Pskov are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. After lunch you will see the city, visit the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Mirozhsky Monastery and the Historical Museum.

6 DAY: PECHORY

Today you will get to know the city of Pechora, the most western city of Russia, excluding the Kaliningrad region.
More than half a million pilgrims annually visit the town of Pechora in the Pskov Region to get in touch with their main shrine, the Pskov-Caves Holy Dormition Monastery.
Lunch in the restaurant of the city.
Return to Pskov.

7 DAY: PSKOV

The tour of the “Silver Necklace” ends with a return to St. Petersburg. The distance between Pskov and St. Petersburg is 300 km, approximately 4 hours.

8 DAY: SAINT PETERSBURG

You have to get acquainted with one of the country estates, Gatchina.
The appearance of the palace and park ensemble in Gatchina dates back to the reign of Empress Catherine II. In 1765, the empress gave her favorite Grigory Orlov a luxurious gift: the Gatchina manor. The picturesque relief, spring lakes, connected by channels and small rivers, made it possible to create a unique landscape park, the center of which was a palace unique in its architecture.
Return to St. Petersburg. Free time, shopping, walk along Nevsky Prospect.
