2 DAY: MOSCOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with a guide in a hotel lobby.
Walking tour of Moscow alleys “Moscow is non-paraded, friendly, cute” (2 h).
Quaint ligature of alleys is typical for cities with a long history. As a rule, the alleys of the historical center of Moscow do not fall into the list of main attractions described in guidebooks. There are no crowds of tourists, because there are many large streets and squares in the capital. But without these inconspicuous and cute streets, Moscow would be different. The tour will help you “disconnect” from the dynamic rhythm of the metropolis and see a different Moscow-centuries-old, unhurried and peaceful.
End of the tour near one of the Central metro stations.
FREE TIME (EXPLORE THE CITY IN A SLOW WAY)
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Take a walk through the Krutitskoe farmstead in the afternoon (easy to get to by metro: metro station Krestyanskaya Zastava / metro Proletarskaya, Krutitskaya st., 11, 13)
Krutitskoe farmstead – a place where you seem to fall through the thickness of centuries, here every stone breathes history. It seems improbable that in the center of modern Moscow these majestic ancient walls and ancient paving stones of the XIII century could be preserved. The entrance to the courtyard is free, and here you can admire the Holy gate with unique old Russian frescoes, the tower, the ascension Church, the Small assumption Cathedral and the arches of the bell Tower.
For lunch we propose to go on foot (1.5 km) / by metro to “Taganka Pancake house” (metro station Taganskaya, Vorontsovskaya st., 8).
Here you can taste simple national cuisine and feel the authentic Soviet flavor. Pancake house is a legend of the capital's catering and has been preparing its main dish for more than 50 years. The situation has changed little during this time, and the prices have remained more than democratic. In addition to pancakes, it serves salads, cutlets, dumplings and other hits of Soviet cuisine.
In the evening, go to the Vorobyovy Gory and admire the lights of Moscow at night from the observation deck (easy to get to by metro: metro station Vorobyovy Gory / metro University, 28B Kosygina street)
The observation deck on Vorobyovy Gory is located in close proximity to the main building of Moscow State University – the famous Stalin’s skyscraper. An incredible panorama opens from this point, which has become the hallmark of the city. The site is located at an altitude of about 200 m above sea level, on the edge of the highest hill. The site is surrounded by a picturesque mixed forest, it resembles a huge balcony overhanging the city: guests are located at the very edge of the hill at a considerable height. The center of Moscow can be seen from here at a glance. After observation, you can go down to the Luzhniki stadium by a new cable car that connects the two banks of the Moscow river (check prices at the ticket office).
Return to the hotel by metro (metro station Vorobyovy Gory / Sportivnaya) / taxi.
OPTIONAL
MOSCOW BY NIGHT + METRO WITH GUIDE AND TRANSPORT
Moscow by night is another city. With all its illumination, parks and monuments, Moscow by night is a splendid view to see. Our excursion is a door to the world of mysteries and adventures. Explore the Red Square, the heart of Moscow, the lively Tverskaya Street with its numerous shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, Victory Park – a huge park-memorial to the Russian glorious victory in the war against the Nazi Germany, decorated with the endless chain of fountains, which are colored at night in bright red. Enjoy the picturesque view on the whole of the city lying below with its peacefully twinkling lights from an observation platform at Sparrow Hills. Besides you will peek into the Moscow underground life visiting the subway of the capital. The stations of Moscow’s subway system have often been called “the people’s palaces”, for their elegant designs and lavish and profuse use of marble, mosaics, sculptures and chandeliers. Built during Stalin’s rule, these metro stations were supposed to display the best of Soviet architecture and design and show how privileged the lifestyle of the Russian people was.
Optional: Dinner at the hotel.
3 DAY: MOSCOW
Breakfast at the hotel.
FREE DAY (EXPLORE THE CITY IN A SLOW WAY)
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
In the morning take a visit the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve (easy to get to by metro: metro station Kolomenskaya, 39 Andropova Ave.)
Kolomenskoye Museum-reserve is located on the territory of the former residence of the Russian tsars within walking distance from the metro. The Park covers an area of 390 hectares. The first written mention of this area dates back to 1336. At various times, Vasyli III, Ivan the terrible, Peter I, Catherine II, and Alexander I lived here. Today you can walk through the Apple orchards, sit on the embankment of the Moscow river and admire the impressive facades of ancient buildings – here is the Church of the ascension, which is included in the list of objects protected by UNESCO, the Church of the Kazan icon Of the mother of God, the wooden Palace of Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, as well as an ethnographic complex, which transported unique historical buildings from different parts of Russia.
After a walk through the Park you can go to the station metro Kolomenskaya or to the station metro Kashirskaya.
For lunch we propose to go to the restaurant of home cuisine “Grabli” (easy to get to by metro: metro station Novokuznetskaya, Pyatnitskaya st., 27, building 1).
After lunch, you can go to one of the Central parks in Moscow.
Visit to the Central Park of Culture and Rest named after M. Gorky (easy to get to by metro: metro station Oktyabrskaya/ Park Kultury, st. Krymsky Val, 9).
Gorky Park deservedly bears the honorary title of “The Main Park of the country”, because it is a favorite place of Muscovites. Gorky Park, founded in 1928, is located almost in the center of the city, on the Krymsky Val, on the banks of the Moscow river. The modern Park is divided into four parts, each of which is a valuable zone: the parterre (the official, main part, the Park itself), “Museon”, Neskuchny garden and Sparrow hills. You can walk along the embankment, rent a bike / scooter, admire historical buildings, relax by the Golitsyn pond, feed the local inhabitants – ducks and ducklings walk around the Park and sociable squirrels that run up to guests and beg for treats. In addition, the Park offers cuisine for every taste. The greatest concentration of gastronomic joys is waiting for you in the main area of the Park – the Parterre. Therefore, here you can stay for a great dinner and pamper your inner gourmet!
Instead of Gorky Park, you can choose another Central Park – VDNKH (easy to get to by metro: metro station VDNKH, prosp. Mira, 119).
The Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy is the largest exhibition, museum and recreational complex in the world. It is at VDNKh that you can see outstanding architectural masterpieces, which together represent a monument to the Soviet era and an example of styles prevailing at different times. Among them are the “Worker and Collective Farm Woman” monument, the “Friendship of Peoples” and “Stone Flower” fountains, the “Agriculture”, “Soviet Culture”, “Cosmos” pavilions and others.
The VDNKh complex includes the Ostankino park with an area of 75.6 hectares. This is one of the oldest Moscow parks. The VDNKh Landscape Park is considered the “green heart of the capital”. This is a unique open-air eco-complex. The historical natural landscape is combined with the latest developments in the field of landscape architecture and landscaping. In terms of style, content, zoning and landscape design techniques, the complex is on a par with the most famous landscape parks in the world. At the same time, the entrance to the VDNKh Landscape Park will remain free. In the park, you can walk along the eco-trail, as well as walk through the Green Maze. You can have dinner right in the Park. There are several dozen cafes, restaurants, food trucks and canteens at VDNH and Ostankino Park. With such a wealth of choice, one thing is clear – it is impossible to remain hungry at the Main exhibition of the country.
Return to the hotel by metro / taxi.
Optional: Dinner at the hotel.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
After breakfast, go to the Moscow State University Botanical Garden “Apothecary Garden” (easy to get to by metro: metro station Prospect Mira, prosp. Mira, 26, building 1). Entrance fee is about 300 rub – check the price at the ticket office.
Apothecary garden is one of the most amazing places in the capital. On a green patch in the center of the city, gray walnut and Ginkgo biloba grow, magnolias and tulips bloom in spring, and turtles live in a pond with water lilies. In the greenhouses, you can admire collections of palms, cacti and orchids, Araucarias and cork trees. It is also an unusual art center: concerts of classical, jazz and rock music are held right in the greenhouses, and art and photo exhibitions are held in the gallery.
For lunch, you can choose one of the cafes / restaurants in the garden.

You will visit the medieval settlements of Yaroslavl – Tolchkovskaya, Korovnitskaya, Streletskaya, Tveritskaya and others. You will learn about the architectural features of numerous churches, touch the main eras in the history of the city and see those picturesque places where tourists rarely get.
The end of the tour on the Volga embankment.
FREE TIME (EXPLORE THE CITY IN A SLOW WAY)
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Go for lunch to the “Tavern on the embankment” (Volzhskaya embankment, 17 – you can walk on foot). Here you will find traditional Russian cuisine in the interior of an old tavern.
Take a walk through the Peter and Paul Park (you can get by city bus / taxi)
Peter and Paul Park is a natural and architectural complex that arose on the territory of the Yaroslavl Great Manufactory, founded in 1772 by decree of Emperor Peter I. A system of five ponds was built in the Park, connecting the stream with the Kotorosl river. the decoration of the Park was The Church of the apostles Peter and Paul, the only one in Yaroslavl in the style of “Peter's” Baroque and is a “double” of the Saint-Petersburg Church of Peter and Paul. Due to the wide pavement leading to the Cathedral, the Park is also called “Yaroslavsky Broadway”. Walking around the Park, you can enjoy the incredible beauty of the landscape and take beautiful photos. Especially noteworthy are the old school, reflected in the mirrored waters of the pond, the elegant spire of the sky-blue temple, which is visible from several points at once, the ruins of brick buildings that are about to be swallowed up by the lush greenery.
Return to the hotel by city bus / taxi.
Optional: Dinner at the hotel.
6 DAY: YAROSLAVL
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Vyatskoye village (1h).
FREE TIME (5 HOURS, SELF-GUIDED WALK AROUND THE VILLAGE, EXPLORE THE CITY IN A SLOW WAY)
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Vyatskoe is a small village, and the stories and monuments – for the whole city!
In Vyatskoe there are more than 50 architectural monuments of the XVIII-XIX centuries, so this village is called an open-air Museum. Most of the attractions are located in the heart of Vyatskoe: the architectural ensemble of the Shopping square includes houses on Pervomayskaya, Davydkovskaya and Sovetskaya streets. You can take a leisurely walk around the village, visit the healing springs, admire the beauty and take photos, or you can look into one or more of the numerous museums. We recommend visiting the house-Museum of the Vyatka trading peasant, where you will be offered the opportunity to fully transform into the role of residents or household members of the dwelling. You can stand behind the shop and try to sell something to other visitors, or do more pressing things: salting vegetables or working in the garden. Visit the Museum “Russian bathhouse in black”. In a tiny but very curious Museum, you will get acquainted with the traditions of Russian bath culture.
For lunch you can choose one of the local cafes / restaurants on your choice.
